Team Effectiveness

Vivid Vision.
Artful Execution.

To succeed, teams must be able to navigate their internal dynamics while achieving the outcomes their organizations need. When you're swamped with the day-to-day, it’s difficult to step back and improve how you work together. We help teams develop the capabilities they need through a range of offerings that introduce new ways of working together and drive stronger performance.

I initially approached this team coaching engagement with some skepticism. That concern was quickly put to rest. The coaching was practical and highly effective. Instead of surface-level conversations, we were given concrete tools to better manage managerial decision-making, create alignment, and build genuine buy-in across the team.

Most importantly, the program helped transform our management group into a team that communicates better, works through differences constructively, and stays focused on shared goals. The result has been improved collaboration and a clearer path toward profitable outcomes. This coaching exceeded my expectations: it helped our leadership team have greater confidence in how we operate and delivered real, measurable value for both our management team and the business.”

Team Coaching

Team coaching strengthens how teams relate to each other and work together. All teams inevitably experience bumps in the road and friction. But teams that become exceptional address the relational dynamics that most directly impact performance. They learn how to interact with both warmth and efficiency, evolve their mindsets and expand their skills, and know how to manage interpersonal tensionsso they can drive stronger results.

We take a systemic approach, which means we consider multiple aspects of team effectiveness: psychological safety, communication patterns, decision-making processes, role clarity, and how the team navigates conflict. Each engagement is customized based on your team's current challenges and goals.

Team coaching focuses on the team as a whole—strengthening relationships between team members as well as the results the entire team generates together.

You know you need team coaching when:

  • Trust has been eroded or psychological safety is missing

  • Conflict is either avoided or destructive

  • Decision-making creates resentment or takes too long

  • A new leader is stepping in or the team makeup has changed

  • You're navigating significant organizational change

  • Your team has the talent but isn't executing together effectively

  • Performance has plateaued despite individual competence

How it works

We will start with a discovery call to identify your team’s needs and outline the stages of the team coaching process. Team coaching engagements typically range from six to twelve months, and can be extended based on the needs of the team.

Step 1:
Getting to know the team

  • Intro meeting with CEO, sponsors, team leads and coach

  • One-on-one interviews with each team member

  • In-person kick-off meeting to understand whole team perspective

  • Initial assessments to capture team functioning baseline

Step 2:
Working towards the team’s goals

  • Team co-creates transformative KPIs to guide the engagement

  • Regular coaching sessions with whole team

  • One on one coaching with team lead

  • Midpoint check-ins with each team member

  • Observation of team meetings

  • In person whole-team development session

Step 3:
Distilling lessons & sustaining the shift

  • Reflecting on lessons learned and how to maintain new behaviors

  • Final assessments to capture growth and identify areas for continued development

  • Summary meeting with sponsors and team leads to discuss learnings and next steps

“Sasha coached my team of managers and me, nine people in total, and the result was more honest and open communication within my department. I would recommend Sasha as she is well organized, always prepared for our sessions, and ran a deliberate process that gave us the best chance at success. She helped us identify points of misalignment, developed exercises designed to work through those challenges, and showed us how to keep up momentum and build upon the work that we had all done together.

Thanks to Sasha's guidance, my team is now more cohesive and actively engages with each other to deliver better collaboration and innovation.”

Team Offsites

  • A facilitated offsite gives leaders and their teams focused time and space away from daily demands to take a step back and align on new approaches. Whether you're setting strategic direction, addressing team dynamics, or brainstorming for a new initiative, we design and facilitate offsites that allow you to think creatively and bring revitalized energy and a renewed outlook to your work.

    • Teams that need to align on key priorities, clarify roles, or make critical decisions

    • Leadership teams preparing for or navigating significant change

    • Newly formed teams building trust, defining norms, and establishing processes

    • Teams experiencing tension, misalignment, or communication breakdowns that are affecting performance

    • Cross-functional leaders working in silos who need to engage in open dialogue and identify ways to collaborate

    • Geographically dispersed teams who want to come together to exchange ideas, share expertise, and strengthen collaborative culture

    • Pre-offsite planning calls with team leader and key stakeholders to understand goals and design a customized agenda

    • Optional pre-offsite interviews or surveys to surface themes and perspectives

    • Half-day to two-day facilitated offsite, customized to your team's goals

    • Facilitation that deepens psychological safety, guides productive dialogue, and helps the team navigate difficult dynamics in real time

    • Post-offsite summary capturing key decisions, insights, and next steps

    • Optional follow-up sessions to maintain momentum and ensure accountability

Dyad Coaching

  • Dyad coaching helps two people who need to work together on a common challenge, whether they're co-leaders tackling shared goals, a manager and direct report increasing candor, cross-functional partners bridging silos, or colleagues navigating a difficult relationship. We work with pairs to strengthen their working relationship, improve communication, and build the trust and alignment needed to collaborate successfully.

    • Co-CEOs, co-founders, or leadership partners who need to strengthen their partnership

    • A leader and direct report working through performance issues, role transitions, or communication challenges

    • Cross-functional partners who need to collaborate more effectively

    • Two colleagues struggling with tension that's affecting team performance

    • Any pair whose relationship is critical to organizational success but isn't working as well as it should

    • Initial one-on-one meetings to understand each person’s viewpoints and goals

    • 90-minute joint coaching sessions focused on communication, trust, and collaboration

    • Individual coaching sessions between joint meetings to support reflection and growth

    • Real-time guidance on navigating specific challenges and difficult conversations

    • Support in developing shared agreements, communication norms, and improved ways of working together

    • Engagements typically run 3-6 months with sessions every 2-3 weeks

    • Follow-up check-ins to ensure new patterns are sustained

Conflict Resolution

  • Conflict resolution helps pairs or teams work through disagreements or longstanding tensions that are getting in the way of working together effectively. We structure conversations so that people can voice their perspective, feel heard and understood, and work through the dynamics that prevent them from engaging constructively with each other.

    • Teams engaging in unproductive conflict that reduces focus and productivity, creates high stress, and impairs their ability to work together

    • Individuals whose interactions or clashes are disrupting the broader organization

    • Leadership teams navigating competing priorities, role ambiguity, or interpersonal friction

    • Teams recovering from a significant breach of trust or difficult event

    • Any situation where conflict has become chronic, avoided, or destructive

    • One-on-one meetings with each person or group to understand perspectives and prepare for productive dialogue

    • Facilitated session(s) that create a safe space for honest conversations to surface underlying issues and identify paths forward

    • Real-time coaching on communication, active listening, and navigating difficult emotions

    • Support in developing agreements and new norms to relate in ways that are constructive and respectful

    • Resolution may happen in one intensive session or across multiple meetings, depending on the situation

    • Follow-up session(s) to check progress, address outstanding challenges, and reinforce new patterns

    • Optional: Ongoing support to sustain the resolution and strengthen relationships over time
